army of 2 sheilds
Here is an idea from Tigger in taber it sounds like lots of fun
Tigger says
Spartan Game or Army of Two?
Ok i am thinking of running a Spartan game (I will explain in a sec) but I wanted to know if there would be a interest in such a game. Maybe Spartan is the wrong title, anyway i got the idea while playing my PS3, a game called Army of Two. So here is how it works:
1. people that enter MUST have a two man firing squad - 2 players that play together
2. each 2 man squad will bring 1 shield that is portable, and can be carried, one of the 2 will get to use the shield and thier marker, the other person gets just his marker (and grenades or whatever gear you normally use)
3. The 2 man squad uses the shield for cover as they move through the forest dispatching other squads of 2 also using shields.
4. The 2 man squads can be alone or we can run a two sided battle (random divideing of the 2 man squads).

Round sheilds
I happen to have a round sheild that is about 4.5 feet across
the problem with a round sheild is that it is round
and it is very easy to shoot at the persons feet at the bottom edges.
I am thinking it is going to just be a refing sheild as it would offer good protection to a ref
because no one is trying to shoot a ref.
